Streamlined Service
This service is suitable for you if you are:-

1. Married or in a Civil Partnership whether you have children or not, (provided that you do not have children with any other former partner), and you both have similar wishes as to the distribution of your estate (sometimes known as Mirror Wills).
2. Single whether you have children or not and you wish to distribute your assets in a straightforward way.

What is the cost a Will or Wills under the Streamlined Service?
You will be charged £150 plus VAT for a single Will or £200 plus VAT for Mirror Wills. For this charge you will receive:-

1. A draft Will.
2. An explanation of the terms of your Will.
3. A discussion by telephone or in our offices of up to 20 minutes on the terms of your Will or your particular requirements.
4. A fair copy of your Will with full instructions on how to sign.
5. A certified copy of the completed Will.
6. Free storage of your original Will.
7. A reminder every 5 years that you should review your Will.

Bespoke Service
This service will be more suitable for you than our Streamlined Service if:

1. Your assets are in excess of the tax free band for Inheritance Tax purposes (currently £325,000 for a single person and £650,000 for married couples or civil partners) and you would like full advice on Inheritance Tax.
2. You wish to include a trust or trusts in your Will, for example, if you have a child with a disability.
3. You are concerned about protecting your assets for your family in the future
4. You have children by different partners
5. You own your own business
6. You would welcome a more detailed overview of your situation and wishes regarding your Will including, if you wish, a meeting or meetings with the Solicitor preparing your Will.

What is the cost of a Will or Wills under the Bespoke Service?
Once we have received your completed Questionnaire and discussed your options with you either in person or on the telephone, we will let you know how much our charges will be for drawing up your Will. We will only charge you more if you change your mind on the type of Will you want resulting in substantial re-drafting by us. We will let you know how much these additional charges will be before starting on the work required.

We do require a payment (£150 plus VAT for a single Will and £200 plus VAT for a pair of Wills which is the cost of Wills under our Streamlined Service) on account of our charges when you send in the Questionnaire but if you decide not to proceed after you have received our estimate, this will be refundable (subject to our discussion not having taken up more than 30 minutes in which case it will be partly refundable) NEXT STEP
