Peter Sturgess

Peter has over 40 years experience in the field of property law. Born in Norwich, after qualifying he first joined an Anglo-American firm of lawyers in London in the 1970’s and is proud that he still acts for some of those clients and their families today. He has practiced in central London in both Mayfair and Covent Garden before moving to Callaghans, mainly to avoid the daily commute into London. He practices in property law, dealing with both residential and commercial conveyancing, advises on commercial Landlord and Tenant matters and Leasehold Reform Act enfranchisements and lease extensions.
He was the Hon Sec of the Federation of Private Residents Association which pioneered the start of legislation to give long Leaseholders of flats greater protection and control over the management of their buildings.
