Experience:After starting his career as a Litigation Lawyer in Liverpool, Stephen spent 20 years working in the City and central London in commercial based practices, then in 1999 joined Callaghans.
Stephen has handled claims ranging from a few thousand pounds through to substantial seven figure actions ranging from County Courts through to the Court of Appeal and by means of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) including Mediation through, for example, the Centre for Dispute Resolution, CEDR.
Stephen has acted for individual and corporate clients in disputes involving Debt Recovery (here and in EC), Banking and Insurance claims, Partnerships, Companies and their Directors, Intellectual Property, Trademark and Passing Off, Professional Negligence, Landlord & Tenant and Property.
In appropriate cases we will consider acting under a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA), for example no win no fee or no win low fee. We can advise and assist in arranging After The Event (ATE) Legal Expense Insurance Cover.
